Shaped like a Christmas tree, this arpillera ornament is a joyous representation of the nativity scene. The tree is crowned by the Star of Bethlehem while the Three Wise Men travel on a winding path to reach the Holy Family, who is protected by Gabriel Archangel. Leonor Quispe sews and embroiders the appliqu composition by hand, crafting the characters with three-dimensional artistry.
